Mr. Vincent Chong Obtains Greater Bay Area Lawyer Qualification

Our partner, Mr. Vincent Chong, has recently passed the Greater Bay Area (GBA) Legal Professional Examination and obtained a “Lawyer’s Practising Certificate (Greater Bay Area)”, qualifying him as a “GBA Lawyer” authorised to handle certain civil and commercial legal matters governed by mainland law in nine mainland cities (including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai).
With this qualification, Mr. Chong can provide more integrated Hong Kong–mainland legal services to clients with cross-border matters involving mainland investment, property, companies, marriage and family, succession, and contractual disputes, thereby reducing the costs and risks of coordinating lawyers in both jurisdictions.
